Camp Farmstead
Asheville Farmstead offers eight weeks of summer camp on the farm and in the forest. Weeklong camps are designed to provide a variety of experiences with themes that focus on varying aspects of summer life on the farm, from water to surviving in the wild.

Sprouts are our youngest students, ages 3-5 and potty-trained. Sprouts learn the routine for caring for the animals, growing seasonal plants and preparing garden snacks, while also participating in story time, singing and dancing, going on short hikes, creating nature crafts, and playing freely in the outdoors. Over the course of a year with us, Sprouts students will improve their motor skills, taste a variety of fresh foods, grow socially by building relationships with others, and develop an attachment to nature. Sprouts may attend from one to four mornings a week, Monday through Thursday.

Free-Play Fridays
Friday mornings are time for play at Asheville Farmstead. This is a less-structured class meant to inspire creativity and promote social behavior. Youth of all ages play together in our beautiful natural setting with some organized games and activities, and plenty of natural objects and loose parts to build with.

Large Groups & Schools
Friday afternoons are reserved for one-time visitors and large groups. Bring your class, party or group for a team-building experience, science lesson or farm tour.
