Sprouts are our youngest students, ages potty trained - 6 years old. The Sprouts program teaches youth about interacting with nature and other children. They may create nature art, plant, harvest, and eat from the garden, explore the forest, and use their imaginations. Over the course of a year with us, Sprouts students will improve their motor skills, taste a variety of fresh foods, grow socially by building relationships with others, and develop an attachment to nature.
Littlest Learners is a farm-and-forest-based early-childhood program, ages 5-8, that focuses on foundational academic skills, social-emotional skills, and whole-child development. Through outdoor, hands-on lessons, community time, garden work, animal care, singing, creating, playing, storytelling, mindfulness practice, and free play, students learn to love and be connected with Earth and all of her inhabitants while receiving a balanced education.
